Our headguide Markku also provides guiding for boat fishing and spincasting and teaches You the secrets of fly-fishing and fly-tying.
Markku’s strong know-how as a fishing and wilderness guide is based on a long standing experience and solid educational background.
Markku has studied vocational qualifications of both fishing guide and wilderness and nature guide. He also has the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park Guide Certificate. As a national park guide he is strongly committed to the principles on sustainable travel.
Hi, I am Markku Mustonen. I have been a passionate fisherman and enjoyed the nature since I was a kid. I have over 40 years experience in fishing, hunting and hiking.
My strongest area is fly-fishing in it’s different forms. My true passion is fly-fishing for salmon but You can often find me on the fishing float tube for fishing trouts, rainbow trouts and pikes.
I work as a fishing guide in Simo river, Tornio-Muonio river and Finnmark. As a national park guide the principles on sustainable travel are close to my heart.
